The Council for Regional Cooperation is launching the fifth edition of the regional event Balkanton, a competition of digital ideas for the economies of the Western Balkans which gain a remarkable reputation. Thematic focus of Balkaton 5.0 is innovative ideas and solutions in different thematic areas including services, green energy, transport, tourism and agriculture, but there is the possibility to expand the topics. The shortlisted teams will have the opportunity to participate in a two-day mentoring program with experts, as well as the chance to win one of six prizes in the amount of EUR 7,000.
Being innovative itself, the Balkaton support the innovative spirit of young people, and thus introduces two special awards for the best ranked teams of high school students, each in the amount of 4,000 EUR.
