ESSENTIAL

• Doctorate in Health Sciences, Biology, Biomedicine, or related fields.
• Experience with cell culture and microscopy techniques 
• High level of written and oral English

• Publications in indexed journals

   

• DESIRABLE
• Experience handling animals (rodents), animal experimentation training (categories B and C).
• Experience with flow cytometry, bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and image analysis.
• Participation in conferences and/or preparation of funding applications. 
• Prior experience supervising or training students.

• Experience in collaborative research environments in Spain or abroad.

  *A disability certificate of 33% or higher is a plus.

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS

• TYPE OF CONTRACT (LEGAL REFERENCE): 36-month postdoctoral access contract with the possibility of an extension. 
• WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time
• EXPECTED START DATE: September 2026, although the position will remain open until filled. 
• GROSS ANNUAL SALARY: €29,216.60-€38,000.00 per year (gross).

The remuneration shall be based on the candidate’s commitment and merit, as well as how suited they are for the role. The worker must comply with the operating rules set by the Biogipuzkoa Institute in terms of commitment, duties, working hours, leave entitlements, etc.

EVALUATION (MAXIMUM OF 100 POINTS WITHOUT AN INTERVIEW AND 125 POINTS WITH AN INTERVIEW)
