Offer Description

Sorbonne Université is organised into three faculties - Arts, Science & Engineering and Medicine - which have considerable autonomy to implement the university's strategy within their own boundaries, based on a contract of objectives and resources. University governance focuses on promoting the university's strategy, steering its activities, developing partnerships and diversifying its resources.

Mission: Research engineering for the ANR RCF3 programme
The ANR RCF3 programme (2025-2030) explores the careers of actors at the Comédie-Française from the 17th century (1680) to the end of the 19th century (1900) and their agentivity within the troupe and in society. It is based on the creation of databases that can be accessed and searched on the ‘Registres de la Comédie-Française’ website (cfregisters.org) and its exploitation by text mining and statistical calculations. The fire registers (which indicate daily allowances and distributions) and committee registers (minutes of plenary or restricted assemblies) are the archival sources to be edited, published and interrogated as a priority in order to carry out this investigation.
The role of the person recruited will be to launch the first stages of the collective programme (a team of 18 researchers and/or teacher-researchers and/or specialists, plus around ten interns and part-timers), under the responsibility of its directors.
Main activities:
- Scientific and functional coordination of the RCF3 ANR programme
- Design of the 19th-century fire database
- Recruitment and management of temporary staff and interns
- Supervision of the verification of transcriptions of 17th-19th century committee registers
- Organisation of study workshops and scientific events
Other activities:
- Popularisation and dissemination operations
